Our Outlook Auto Setup Tool will automatically create a new Outlook profile for your Exchange hosting mailbox. If you have other email accounts configured in your current profile you will need to move them to the new profile manually.

The Setup tool will not create your mailbox on the Exchange Server. If you are unsure whether your mailbox has been created, please contact your company administrator.

No existing data will be lost during this setup. You can view all profiles configured on your system:

1. Click on Start
2. Select Control Panel from the Start Menu
3. From the Conrol Panel, double-click on Mail
4. Click "Show Profiles"
5. In this Window you will see all profiles that are currently configured on your system

If you are not running on Outlook 2003, we recommend upgrading your version of the software before setting up Hosted Exchange. This free upgrade is available here: Outlook 2007 Download

If you are running Outlook on Windows 2000 you will need to setup a VPN connection. For steps on setting up a VPN connection contact support.

1. Close Microsoft Outlook.
   
   
2. Download and run the pre-setup software:
   
   
3. Click Setup.
   
   
   
   
4. The Outlook Setup tool will select the setting which is most appropriate for your client. Please do not change this unless you are advised to do so by your administrator or support personnel.
   
   
   
   
5. You will see the following information box:
   
   
   
   Click OK.
   
   
6. The login window will come up and prompt you to login. Enter your full email address and password:
   
   
   Click OK.
   
   
7. Click Finish.
   NOTE: This window may be hidden behind the Outlook window.
   
   
   
   
8. Outlook will open automatically. If you have multiple profiles you will be prompted to select a profile. The profile name will be in the following format: "Exchange Hosting <your e-mail address - e.g. YourName@YourDomain.com> ". Select the profile and click OK.
   
   
   
   
9. You will be asked to login again, please do so.
   
   
10. If the Setup Tool encounters a problem while creating your Exchange profile a window will come up with the error message "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is Unavailable."; please click Retry.
    
    
11. You are now ready to use Outlook. Each time you start Outlook you will be prompted to log on with your username and password.
    
    

Before you download your free copy of Outlook 2007 please make sure you have completed the following steps:

• Redirected or forwarded your mail (mx) records  to our servers: MX/DNS Record for Your Domain

You will be prompted for the username and password of the mailbox that you are downloading Outlook 2007 for.

During the Outlook installation, you will be asked to enter a license key to authenticate your Outlook donload.  Please click the above link to obtain your license key.

You will be prompted for the same username and password you entered above.

Note: You may download a free copy of Outlook for each hosted exchange mailbox you create.
