We are growing and looking for Skilled Linux IT Consultants, experienced and highly motivated systems administrator to join our team.
iuvo Technologies is looking for skilled LIT Systems and Network Administrators who are comfortable in a consulting role. This person has a broad skill set and enjoys leading small high-performance teams and working with a wide variety of technologies and people. In this position, you will work with others who are passionate about IT infrastructure and love to learn new technologies.
Key contributions of this position include:
Providing technical leadership on a variety of projects involving all aspects of IT infrastructure including Windows, UNIX, Linux, and networking.
Staying up-to-date on industry developments and current events in our space.
Interfacing with stakeholders and end users to identify best possible solutions and outcomes.
Hands-on technology evaluation and selection.
Designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer systems.
Performing security, performance, and availability assessments.
Managing and resolving open IT issues.
Debugging user-reported problems.
Monitoring systems and networks.

8+ years of hands on IT Admin experience supporting Redhat/CentOS Linux Unix and related technologies
Working knowledge of Windows XP/Vista/7, Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 operating systems.
Experience with Networking, WAN, LAN, WLAN
Must understand core technologies like apache, VMware and MySQL
Previous experience working directly with users, and ability to project confidence.
Experience with system imaging technologies, scripting and automation
Experience configuring and Managing Monitoring systems like Nagios, Xymon, Cacti, Ganglia.
You know how to use most Microsoft Office products as well as many open source alternatives.
You can configure NAS, SAN and understand LVM and HA technologies.
Experience Managing high availability Web infrastructure .
Knowledge of Linux, installing and supporting Linux desktops and servers, Unix file permissions, and optimizing technical environments.
Experience managing and building centralized authentications systems like windows (A/D) and Linux (NIS/LDAP) environments
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WWW, WiFi and TCP/IP.
Experience managing Telecom equipment, (esp. asterisk) a plus
Experience with Smart phones, PDA’s and support of cell phones ( a plus)
Prior experience managing CAD/EDA software like Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys ( a plus)
BS in EE, CS or MIS is desirable.
Must be willing to write and document your technical solutions.
Must be willing to create and present solutions to a variety of audiences.
